Rolling on the River—the Winelands along the Columbia River

The Columbia River flows for over 1,243 miles, beginning in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia in Canada. It is joined by dozens of other rivers—including the Willamette, Snake, Walla Walla, and Yakima Rivers—before emptying into the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, the Columbia River defines the terroir and landscape of a significant number of AVAs, vineyards, and wine estates. Join Jane A.
